St. George Wreck – Reference

Just off Dominicus lies the impressive St. George shipwreck, a 73‑meter cargo ship sunk in 1999 to create an artificial reef. Now covered in corals and sponges, it’s home to barracudas, groupers, moray eels, and king mackerels. This site is best suited for advanced divers due to its depth (31–44 m).

Bayahibe offers some of the best diving conditions in the Caribbean: warm waters, minimal currents, and visibility that makes every dive spectacular. Whether you’re a beginner looking for an easy reef dive or an experienced diver seeking technical challenges, Bayahibe has something for everyone.
